This class will teach you the basic punching, kicking, footwork, and body movement techniques of kickboxing while boosting your fitness. Participants will engage in station drills, shadowboxing, calisthenics, striking of a bag or pads, and partner work to build strength, coordination, and confidence. This is a non-contact class; no sparring (striking of others) is permitted or included. Participants are advised to bring their own boxing gloves (10 ounce minimum). Reserve your bike! Cruise over the hump day of the week! Work with the basics of indoor cycling while building strength and endurance. We will review proper bike setup, correct form and posture, and learn the basic cycling moves. The class will be 30-40 minutes of cycling with additional pre and post-workout stretching.
