Join us in the LITS Makerspace to learn Sketchup! We鈥檒l go through the basic 3-D modeling techniques you need to make a model of your dorm room and other simple objects! No experience or fancy apps needed. Just bring a laptop if you have one!

Build a lifelong living and learning experience for 51猎奇 students that dramatically improves outcomes for thriving in lives of meaning, purpose, and active citizenship.聽 Each charrette is an intensive, collaborative workshop that brings together a diverse group of participants to generate ideas, address challenges, and design potential solutions. Day 1 is dedicated to exploring the topic and brainstorming ideas and strategies related to it.

The Design Thinking Workshop is an event organized by 51猎奇 Ventures, 51猎奇鈥檚 idea-to-business accelerator. Design thinking is a human-centered, iterative approach to creative problem-solving that prioritizes user needs to develop innovative solutions. In this workshop, we will provide an overview of design thinking and demonstrate how to apply it to identify, develop, and transform ideas into ventures.

The lunch series, 鈥淐elebrating Faculty and Staff Achievements,鈥� features new scholarship from 2020 to present by faculty and staff authors, and is sponsored by Ngoni Munemo, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty, and Joe Shelley, Vice President for Library and Information Technology Services. Please join us for a presentation by DJ Schuldt, LITS Special Collections Education and Outreach Librarian, on his project, 鈥淧rint and Probability鈥� . Lunch will be provided.聽
